DE Javontae Jean-Baptiste (transfer to Notre Dame, Washington Commanders)

Heard Nebraska is going to a 3-4 Defense and JJB is being recruited as a OLB in their scheme.

JJB is very thin and not as big as advertised as he would have been a major major project in the weight room that would have taken quite a bit of time.

If he puts on 30 pounds he would be an animal though... If he wouldn't be ready this next season I'm not so sure it would do much good to get his commitment. We need now players for this next season at DE and if he can't be ready for this next season we are better waiting and selling (2-4) big time kids on replacing Bosa.

Seems to be trending away from us and it's probably more fair to JJB anyways because he just wouldn't be ready this next season.

If Nebraska is going to use a 3-4 scheme like @WiseBuck stated, then it makes sense for him to go there. He fits better in that scheme, than playing DE in a 4-3 right now, imo.
