"I'm good at man-to-man coverage and the bump and run. I'm aggressive and I have the ability to recover and stay with the receiver. I want to get stronger and I'd like to work on my cover skills too."

Jenkins lists Virginia Tech, Rutgers, and Ohio State as his top three with Boston College, and Syracuse rounding out his top five. Jenkins grew up a Tennessee fan but no longer lists them as one of his favorites.

Syracuse has joined VT and Rutgers as schools that have offered.

Jenkins will be camping at Rutgers and Ohio State this off-season.

Jenkins is also a standout in the 400 meter dash. He was a member of the record setting 4X400 relay team as a freshman.

With our current nation-wide expansion recruiting-wise, we could seriously rival perennial national recruiting powers like Michigan and Notre Dame. If we do indeed rise to that level of national recruiting, along with keeping the cream of the Ohio crop, then our future teams could be downright scary...

Ditto, Mili - with Ohio as a great base, strong ties in Florida, and a new presence in Pennsylvania, OSU already has a rich recruiting territory. If OSU can continue to get a few quality kids from the rest of the country (like Abdallah from Louisiana and Patterson from Missouri, both from last year's class), then the Bucks could solidfy themselves as a perennial national championship contender.

Here are all the states other than Ohio in which we are currently actively recruiting players (bolded means at least one offer in that state)

Arizona
California
Canada
District of Columbia
Delaware
Florida
Georgia
Illinois
Indiana
Kentucky
Louisiana
Maryland
Michigan
Minnesota
Mississippi
Nebraska
New Jersey
New Mexico
New York
North Carolina
Oklahoma
Pennsylvania
South Carolina
Texas
Virginia
West Virginia
Wisconsin

That's 25 states, one country, and the District of Columbia, with offers being to made in 14 of those. I also think we're in on one or two players from Iowa also, but I'm not sure.

Anyone that thinks we're not recruiting more nationally needs to think again.

We offer so many DBs and we seem to get SO MANY DBs, I hope some of these guys can catch the ball and become WRs because we are absolutely loaded the defensive backfield, but the WR corp isn't nearly as strong.

I know JT says he just recruits types of athletes, and this fulfills the speed category, but all these DBs better have some good hands and learn to run a route.
