I hate the click-bait headlines that are clearly only for theater.

You do not have to get the vaccine at OSU. If you do not, you have to take weekly covid tests until it's determined covid is no longer a threat.

There's health, religious, and personal exemptions. Also, colleges are for profit. Slim chance they remove everyone that chooses not to vaccinate.

The best part of this post is that you didn't think it was a fall camp tidbit. Nice work!

Me personally, I feel like the best part is that I don’t have to call anyone a moron or call people selfish and stupid because they have a different point of view than I do and I didn’t pretend to act like know what’s best for each person.

I did all of that without even telling anyone if I’m vaxxed or not. Bonus points.

Now that kind of stuff is of questionable legality. You're free to tell people to get it or get out but not sure you can charge them more for it.
Its probably perfectly legal given the lack of worker protections in this country… also tying health care to jobs for most of the folks in the US allows this to be an affective tool.

I’m not sure of the union contracts with delta but if they said its an unexpected increase in insurance cost they would likely pass that down easily and legally…

so you think most of their employees are paying out of pocket for their Health care through ACA or they are on Medicare/aide —- or am i missing something else?

i’m genuinely asking.
Yes, you’re missing the scam of “account based healthcare” plans. Trust me, Delta offers their employees actual health insurance options, not HSA driven disaster insurance.

Edit: I called a Delta VP and was told that Delta is “self insured” which is how they get away with this. The insurance coverage is brutally bad. She told me that most have insurance under their spouse’s plans if any at all.

No different than paying a premium for being a smoker. You're making a voluntary, lifestyle choice that will statistically lead to higher healthcare costs for you down the road.

Freedom isn't free; there's a hefty fucking fee.
