Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

There isn’t. Not one thing.

- Perrion Winfrey looks like the real deal. By my count, 3 pressures and a tipped pass in his first game.
- Deepest RB room in the NFL. Ford looks like he can make Hunt expendable, that's without including D'Earnest. Kelley is a hard runner as well. Good because picks and another IDL target out of him would be ideal.
- Drafting WR's with 10+% drop rate is always a questionable idea (Schwartz)
- Pocic looks serviceable
- Taven Bryan might not make this roster
- Emerson was gifted an INT, but flashed elite strength and wingspan for a corner when he basically ripped the ball away.
- Our linebackers are still a concern in space. Facing CMC healthy week 1 is a bigger worry than Baker himself.
- Jed Willis might end up back at RT eventually. Too many times he gets beat to the inside because he gets caught over setting outside. Walker, as a rookie, hit him with the same move back to back last night and it worked both times.

Plenty to take away.

Dawson Deaton out with a torn ACL.

That's 2 of your 3 centers lost for the season. That's how we sunk the 2014 shot at a wild card, lost Alex Mack and our 2nd string as well. Hoping Berry is on the phone looking for quality depth and not just moving over Dunn.

Schwartz needs to take heed of how Clifford Franklin fixed this problem.. "Now you know this don't look natural Coach. now you know it don't... I look like I just jacked off an elephant."

That reminds me, need to get my yearly watching in before the season kicks off. Still my favorite football movie.

Certainly seems as if the drumbeats are getting louder regarding a settlement between the NFLPA and NFL regarding Watson's suspension. Lots of speculation on anywhere from 10 to 12 games plus the largest fine in league history.

Next time the CBA is negotiated, I hope someone negotiates a fucking timeline for this stuff. Can’t say the NFL looks as bad as Watson, but them dragging this through the mud and extending the story as long as possible is a disaster for all parties involved. The NFL looks incompetent and hate-able while trying to punish a sexual predator. Let that sink in.

Adding an independent judge to the CBA that is completely ignored in the grand scheme in terms of punishment.. what’s the point? Sue’s decision was a waste of everyone’s time. Especially if they knew she was going to rule on precedent. The entire fucking point of Sue was to get an independent voice to give punishment. But in the end, the NFL just picked the person to dish out the punishment anyways.

Fuck the NFL, fuck Deshaun Watson, fuck the Browns. Go Cavs.

It is in Watson's best interest to agree to any suspension that is less than a whole season just to make sure he starts to get paid next year. As a Browns fan I'd rather it be a full season if it's more than 8 games, but 10-12 games feels like everyone loses so that would be more likely.
