Changes to YOUTUBE and other video linking

Clarity

We used a bbcode in the past to accomplish this. It was effective, but increased overhead as it meant extra parsing every time a page with the code was loaded.

I've installed a new and better solution, one that is more elegant both in terms of its function, as well as use.

Better still, this allows me to make in-line video loading optional per user, something not possible in the past.

So, to use this -- just paste the URL. That's it. Should work for most places that do video (Youtube, Google, Yahoo, etc.) and for those it doesn't, I can add that functionality as necessary. Because it parses it once when the post is submitted, rather than when it's loaded by each user -- well, even I understand how that will be a good thing.

[strike]Now, to opt-out. Just go to UserCP, go to Group Memberships over on the left bar there, and then join VIDEO OPT-OUT. Here's the thing though. Remember that the video code is parsed when the post is submitted. So anything that was posted before you joined OPT-OUT will still be there. Any videos after you join will be a simple text link. So this is a "one way or the other" long-term decision, not something that can be neatly jumped in and/or out of as you please. That's the cost of the lower overhead, but it's not much of a cost at all considering we had no means to opt out before anyway.[/strike]

edit: looks like opt-out is a work in progress, will update when it's working properly.

So again, don't use the old bbcode anymore as it won't work. I may be able to set this up to translate all the old instances of it so our videos convert over, but there are some dangers to that, so I've chosen not to for the time being.

Ultimately, this should be a much more intuitive system. No code, just URLs. Feel free to try it (if you're a regular video poster) in the testing forum.
