CB Sevyn Banks (transfer to LSU)

There were four players who got off the field quickly after Oregon loss and did not do Carmen Ohio. Banks,Hooker,Pope and Wilson. You can debate the importance of this, but with all the family talk the team should be sticking together win or lose. Some people have said Wilson takes losses very very hard. The other three appear to have problems

Winning covers up a lot of crap. Is it Banks choosing not to play or are Hooker and Banks in that old Tressel dog house.

Not trying to throw shade at the young man but his career as a Buckeye has been something I’ve never fully understood. He’s one of the “bigger names” so to speak who has seemingly done very little to remember him by. I certainly wish him well of course.

Agreed, a lot of steak with next to no sizzle. Talked a lot but was consistently inconsistent in his play. Wish him the best, and hope he moves on, as to see what we have behind him with the youth at CB.

I don’t see that he would get drafted. I never got the impression from articles throughout the year that the staff was thrilled with his work effort. Might be best to hit the portal and see if he can get some playing time somewhere next year.

I thought he would really be something at Ohio State. I watched him closely when he played this year, hoping to see a glimmer of the young man a few years ago, but I saw someone who did not really try to involve himself in the defense and getting beaten in ways that I would not have expected. Perhaps a year at a different university could help remove him from whatever is holding him back, which most certainly is not the coaches but his performance. If he should leave, I hope that he will do well.
