Grant and Apple are going to play a big part on Defense Saturday night. We are going to have to load the box to stop the run. That means these two guys are going to be on an island most of the night. I like how we match up. I don't see any receiver on UW doing what Abra Ca Dabra did last year. I think if we use last years game plan/scheme we put the players in the best position to win. I think Grant gets a pick Saturday night.

Underrated play: On the Steve Miller pick six, Grant ran alongside Miller to block, but then looked over his shoulder and found Amari Cooper. Grant hit the brakes and effectively blocked Cooper by simply getting in the way with his back still turned to him. We can't be sure if Cooper would have caught Miller, but usually on that type of plays you see guys that aren't used to blocking get tunnel vision and sometimes pick up a block in the back too. As I watch this game for what seems like the millionth time, these are the kinds of little things that I'm starting to notice and appreciate.
