Dude absolutely has a much older and mature way about him. Yes he’s confident but doesn’t have that empty cockiness about himself from what I can see. It’s like, nothing is too big for him and this is all playing out exactly like he imagined. It’s just really wild and I love it.

Whatever “it” is the dude has plenty. Can’t believe we get to see this guy for quite a while and I can only imagine what his ceiling will be.

That's what I was thinking, I didn't read that as Denzel being cocky at all. Just seems like he's confident in his game and should be. Shit, I can't remember a true freshman locking receivers down like this here. "Impressed" is putting it lightly, Denzel is playing out of his mind at a position that is very hard to be consistently that good at, and he's like 18 or 19? Yeah, he gets to talk some game.

You never like giving up bulletin board material. It’s just a quote and it’s probably not as bad as it’ll be made out to be in the Penn State locker room but you have to be careful in your interviews.

He’s a very talented freshman who is on track to be a first round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. But he’s going up against a guy who could be a first round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He poked a bear. Let’s see if he can back it up.

Going to get on this one ahead of time because I remember Steve Smith's words when talking about Josh Norman; I feel they apply here - "they play a lot of cover 2".

If DB is getting safety help then I'm going to be more measured in my praise of his play. But if the Bucks run more single high, bring numbers and force Clifford to throw through his injury, then I'm likely going to gush. Provided Denzel does what we all know he is capable of doing.

Still... VERY excited about this.
