Loved the comment about playing alongside great competition. It was an interesting contrast to Tyler Booker who stressed the “play against the best competition” approach. At the end of the day, he’s going to be spending the majority of his time developing under the watch of LJ on the practice field.

The smart ones realize the "big picture":

1) Competition for your position only makes you better
2) (Especially for the DL) you want great players along side you so you don't get double or triple teamed on every play, which will allow you to make more plays
3) Depth at your position allows you to take some breaks so you'll be a stronger/more dominate player in the 4th quarter when the game is on the line.
