It's not like fundraising has tailed off by one bit since he was ousted. We actually set records the last two years and hit the campaign target over a year early, so I have to wonder how much the start of the campaign was due to Gee and how much was systemic and already in place.

Corn was a 9-10 win team in the weakest BCS/P5 division when they left Little10.

They were still a 9-10 win team in the next weakest BCS/P5 division when they joined the Big West.

Their consistency under Pelini is stark.

OU will be fine wherever you go, so long as you don't make bad hires... like a 'nice' Oregon State coach that never accomplished anything.

Oklahoma isn't in a state that is already connected to the B1G via geography and doesn't have the academic standing to get admitted to the CIC. Add to that, there's no way OU comes without the rednecks in Stillwater and they're even further away from a B1G offer than OU is....

Yea at this point I'd much rather expand on the East Coast... where recruiting and populations are growing, and academics are good.
Virginia has to be top of the list.

OU+1 to SEC and Texas+3 to PAC makes more sense. I doubt SEC lets them bring OkSt either... my guess is they'd want Kansas.
PAC isn't a culture fit for Texas either, but they would be quarantined from the CA and Pacific NW upper crust... in their own division with the 2 AZ party schools, Utah, and CU.

Would Virginia make a move without bringing Va Tech with them? Although both would be fine additions IMO.
