Best shooting game??

It ain't easy, bein' cheesy.
I'm not into video games much, but I'm interested in getting a cool shooting game for my PC. I like the Snipers game that we have in the BP arcade- does anyone know of a good game that would be somewhat similar to that?

And, I'm not into the role-playing stuff- I just want to kill bad guys.

Best FPS I've played in the last five years was Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It's an older title so you don't need a bleeding edge PC to run it, and you can probably find it at Best Buy for $15 or $20. Hours and hours of fun. Very atmospheric and engaging, with a lot of movement, tactics, hiding, and sniping. Not so much mindless run around and shoot everything in sight.

I got months of enjoyment out of it.
