Any racquetball players on here?

Hadn't played since I was a student. Fun game.

I really enjoy doubles, it forces you to think on the fly and really plan your shots.

Cut throat is my favorite game.

Don't like doubles b/c you spend the entire time running into each other.

Thats part of the challenge being able to get to shots sans contact, and being able to place the shots without hitting somone in the back of the head.

We always split the court front/back for doubles. Takes some chutzpah to be the frontman.

Me too, went undefeated the whole quarter until I played the instrctor the last day of the quarter. :smash1:

We had a tournament at the end of the semester. I made it to the quarterfinals and got beat by a dude I had beaten soundly on more than one occasion. :sad2:

I used to work for a manufacturing company here in town that had a court and a small gym inside the building, and we played after work all the time. We usually had 3 or 4 guys and I agree I kind of liked the cutthroat a little better as it was less crowded. I was not as good strategically as the other guys, my goal was just to hit the ball so hard it broke.

I didn't even know there were places in town to play anymore. Where do you play?

is that the place near anchor hocking? my family used to be members there a number of years ago. i'm not sure how the owner knew my mother (no jokes, please), but he gave us free memberships. i was too young to appreciate anything else but the basketball courts. that place was barely patronized. i'm surprised it's still in business. they probably remain afloat due to their indoor tennis courts, right?
