Yep. Just a bunch of no-hopers taking easy courses on coaching! NOT!!!
Well done Buckeyes!

with teachers fixing grades and tutors doing their work for them id hope we would do well! :p

yeah, that doesn't really help espin's grade fixing allegations does it? i remember one of the commontators from either the 02 or 03 season was going to read a question from one of krenzel's mid terms during the broadcast. i say "was going to" because he never actually did. he was unable to pronounce half the words in the sentence. that damn krenzel, skatting by on the easy classes hehehe.

Congrats to all of the student-athletes. I saw something the other day that said Stan White was going to apply for a Rhodes Scholarship next year. Have we ever had a football player who was designated a Rhodes Scholar?

In 1985, Flanker Mike Lanese became the first OSU football player to win a Rhodes Scholarship. In addition to being a Rhodes Scholar, Mike was a team captain along with Keith Byars and Thomas "Pepper" Johnson in 1985.

I'm sure tOSU having the most all-academic football players will be the lead story on the 6:00 p.m. SportsCenter today.

Somebody let me know if I'm right. I quit watching that show when it became all about "Shaq said..Kobe said" a few months ago.

Here are tOSU's 22 football players on the academic All-Big 10:

Jason Caldwell
Robert Coleman
Douglas Datish
Michael DeMaria
Dustin Fox
Simon Fraser
Anthony Gonzalez
Maurice Hall
Roy Hall
Derek Harden
Curt Lukens
Nicholas Mangold
John McLaughlin
Brandon Mitchell
Andrew Norman
Joel Penton
Nate Salley
Brandon Schnittker
Antonio Smith
Stanley White
Stephen Winner
Justin Zwick

Well of course we're going to have the most academic honorees, with all the free tutoring we give the football team... :roll1:

No wonder we were 7 - 4 this year, half our offense is on that list. I wish these guys would stop going to class and get out on the practice field and push the seven-man sled around for a couple of hours ... God knows they need it!

Ever since Cooper was fired the program has just gone all to hell!
