Next up: Illinois, in a game that is going to have a down home feel with Memorial Stadium only seating 60,670. Illinois can thank Ohio State for the inflated attendance, too late though for former athletic director, Mike Thomas, who was fired Monday morning.

Ticket prices start at $47 to get you in, which is much less than national middlemen like Stub Hub. For premium seats, expect to spend around $100, or maybe a little less. Saturday's game is a great opportunity to take the whole family for an 11 a.m. Central kick. Looking ahead, Michigan State and Michigan are hovering at about $275 and up to get in.

Just sayin': A $47 ticket to see Ohio State play football (especially a B1G game) is a very good deal these days.

Interesting; but I'll pass on this:

Note (the purpose of the post): Proceeds will be used to offset the cost of the 2016 alternate helmet and uniform.

I wonder what the "alternate uniforms" that they have planned for 2016 look like.
