    I thought Id' show a position-by-position breakdown for the roster beginning next year (classes shown are next year's). I realize a lot of players are young and havent' done anything, but I must say it looks good. BTW, I wonder whether Ginn will move to CB and Frost back to DE.

    Nice to see it set this way. Makes you realize how unusually thin we are at RB. Also Sims and Shaefer better look around there are players gaining on them...

    Holy shit Brandon Schnittker is still around next season? That dude is like Carlos Snow, it seems like he is around forever.

    I thought Ginn doubled as a corner? Sort of like how Gamble used to do it.

    Ginn quit working with the defensive side during practice a few weeks ago to focus on O where he could help us this year.

    TheStoicPaisano But I didn't, so it doesn't

    Terry's played all year, so take the RS designation off of him.

    I think Ginn's fate will depend on players such as Holmes (NFL?), Jordan (health-his uniform is his jersey, jeans, and a backwards hat), and Dukes (progress). I think the staff would rather have Teddy be like Gamble 2003 (almost exclusively CB) rather than the 2002 version (100+ plays a game). He'll get his touches on O though.

    When was the last time Ohio State recruited two players that were number one in the nation, in back to back years, at the same position?

    We're going to have scary speed next year.

    Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I agree wholeheartedly.

    Add the OL recruits we've landed recently and the amazingly promising set of RBs that have OSU on their radar (including top recruit RB Stewart), and Ohio State will be dancing in the BCS for years to come.

    Yup and it's well documented that Ginn is not playing Corner yet, and most think O'Neal will slide to safety.(Even thought O'Neal is no longer the #1 CB this year).

    I didn't realize he was number one in the country coming into Ohio State. That makes the recruiting feat even more impressive--on top of them all coming from Glenville.

    Last time OSU DIDN't have a #1 ranked recruit?

    This thread prompts another question.

    When was the last time tOSU did NOT garner a #1 rated recruit at any position.

    So who are the two you were referring to in your original post?

    According to TheInsiders
    2002 = Mike D'Andrea
    2003 = Donte Whitner
    2004 = Ted Ginn

    According to Rivals we did not have a #1 prospect in 2003, however in 2002 Maurice Clarett was our #1 prospect as a FB.

    Its so hard to measure a players worth before the jump from HS to D1A, so I'll take any creditable rating services opinion for the #1 string. Rivals or Insiders. I'm not going over the cliff yet with TL.

    Sorry, it was a question not trivia. Didn't intend to mislead anyone.
