Yes, that name should sound familiar. Jimmy is the son of Jim, nephew of Jeff, and grandson of Jim...all Buckeye Alumni. As a junior, Jimmy caught 64 passes for 782 yards. He has attended practice and will likely camp in Columbus.

Actually have some info on this one. One of my better friends is his cousin and his family was saying that OSU was in frequent contact and are very interested. He should be a guy to watch out for in camp.

Haven't had a chance to see him personally, yet, but have talked to several people who frequent Trojan games.

Sounds like the kid has the measurables (height & speed) to be a high D1-A prospect. He does, however, have some major things to work on before he can expect to get offers to match that potential.

Hands are above average, but could use imporvement. He has size, but lacks the true physicality you would expect to go with that size. He doesn't really go over the middle and make a lot of catches...may be a little prone to drops when he "hears footsteps".

He may be a little too much of a project, due to the limited number of schollies available for '08, but someone will take a chance on him considering the raw skill set.

Given their love for tall receivers, I wouldn't be surprised to see Purdue put the full court press on this kid, especially if he is projected as more of a project.

I talked to my friend today and they say that Jimmy is very intrigued by Purdue. He is going to try and earn an offer at the OSU camp but realizes it will be tough to come by an offer. Also may camp at Purdue and I think that would be a great fit if OSU doesn't work out.
