By BK... Jerel looks to be one of the top DT prospects in Ohio for next year. He loves tOSU, and has been up for a game. He also attended a Notre Dame game this year.

Huber Heights Wayne has been very good to tOSU over the years... If the staff deems him worthy of an offer, there likely won't be a doubt about where he goes...

Is he a top 10 prospect in the state? His measurables look nasty.

Hard to say. Ohio is supposedly loaded next year with talent. Of course, a lot of times the early names that pop up don't pan out, and the later names which pop up become higher end prospects than others.

However, consider that Devoe Torrence, Mike Adams, Zebrie Sanders, Cordale Scott, Danny Mcarthy, not to mention a boatload of others are top 10 material, it's hard to say.

There was also film at the bottom of that article.

My Take:

Just from that picture I am not sure how much more weight he can add to that frame. As for the film, he looked quick off the ball, but at times he played to high and when he met the rb in the hole he had to drag him done to get him down why the RB got a couple extra yards...I think he is one to keep an eye on, and if he is to get an offer I think it will be after the coaches get to see him first hand at camp.
