Wondy Pierre-Louis, a 6-foot, 176-pound cornerback prospect at Naples (Fla.) Lely High School, will likely take his two remaining official visits to Ohio State and Florida, he said in a telephone interview Tuesday. Neither trip has been scheduled. “But I think Ohio State is going to be one of them if they offer,” Pierre-Louis said. “… I think Florida and Ohio State are going to be my last two.”

Pierre Louis expects to receive an Ohio State offer next week.

“They said they watched on film, me and Culmer, and they really liked it,” Pierre-Louis said. “They are going to talk to us sometime next week.”

“I think the next time they call they are going to offer a scholarship.”

Pierre-Louis previously took official visits to Minnesota (Dec. 2), West Virginia (Dec. 9) and Wisconsin (Dec. 16). Of those three programs, he said the Badgers stood out. However, Pierre-Louis does not expect to make a decision until he has taken all five official visits. And he and St. Jean have consistently said that they intend to pick the same school.

If that sentiment holds true, it would eliminate the Gators, who are not showing St. Jean interest. St. Jean plans to take his fifth official to South Florida.

It's being reported on BN that Pierre-Louis has a 37" vertical and a 23-11 long jump... For a 6' CB prospect, at 37" vertical is very intriguing...

If the staff offers a kid as CB, I think speed is probably the 1st thing they confirm when scouting him. The update sounds promising... Also, who is Culmer-a teammate apparently?

You know there are always those that get upset at our coaches for lack of recruiting visits, lack of interest in certain recruits, and such. But you cant say enough about how well Tressel & company find recruits that are below the radar. We have a need for cover corners, especially with Youboutys status up in the air, this is yet another great find by our staff.

The original article says they are natives of Naples so I think they are probably not displaced from New Orleans. Interesting thought though given that both have very distinct French names and are of Hatian decent (at least Wondy is).
