I think it will be a 3 player class as well. I think the only thing that would change that is a random NBA entry or Potter doesn’t get a lot of playing time this season and decides to move on since he won’t have to sit out a year now. If one of those things happens, I’d assume he will try to...
Very solid comparison. He squares himself up perfectly on his shot.
One thing he will have to work on is that dribble that will be called a carry in college a lot. This is not uncommon with younger players now a days as it isn’t called on them much.
Dakich tried to sell a call on a ball he tipped out of bounds. Valentine then gave him five because of him trying to get a call. I don’t believe refs should do that but it is the guy who must always be the center of attention in the game.
It is hilarious that scUM fans think that is somehow...
I think everyone knows the talent isn’t here currently to compete in the top 40 in the country. I also know Gonzaga isn’t a mid major anymore.
Tonight’s game against Stanford should be a W even with this roster. It may not happen but Stanford is not very good.
I would take Darius Days personally over Ahrens if given the choice. I just think that Ahrens is a much more realistic get over Days. I'm not sure Holtmann and crew are established enough yet to pull a guy who is also being recruited by mostly high major schools.
You'd be shocked at how many teams and individual athletes are doing yoga now. I've done it a few times and thought it was incredibly relaxing and if done regularly would help flexibility a lot.
The way he exploded on the AAU circuit this summer and started getting high D1 offers, I think it's fair to say he will be Holtmanns first must get Ohio player.
Holtmann didn't have a great chance on the '18 class of Ohio players but will have full time with '19 and on.
Would love for Weaver to be the player who commits and starts the ball really rolling for '18. I wish Watson was still a part of the class but obviously he and/or Holtmann decided it was not the best fit.
I agree it is a bit optimistic, I dont think it isn't wildly crazy though. Nembhard is probably the longest shot but I think the rest are reasonable.
Even if we got say.. Ahrens and Bauttin instead of Henry and Days I'd still be pleased with
Weaver, Muhammad, Ahrens, Battin
This is who I'd really like to have in '18, being somewhat realistic.
Weaver or Nembhard (whoever commits first)
Muhammad
Henry
Days
You basically get every position covered outside a center. They will still have Potter and Wesson for '18 and you go hard after a true center in '19.
This is why I can't understand how some don't think the Cavs did well with the trade they did make? If that was a "close" offer and the Cavs had done that people would have freaked out.
So you would rather wait for that Godfather offer that they obviously haven't been offered and have a guy who, while he wouldn't play bad on purpose, has made it clear he doesn't want to play for your team? All this while you are also trying to convince the best player in the world to stick...
