  1. If you could have one person back from 2002....

If you could have one person back from the championship team in 2002, who would it be? Clarett? Krenzel? Smith, Doss? Perhaps Jenkins.. I was just thinking how this team probably has more all around- talent than the 2002 version. Not that that team had no talent, but they didn't play Texas...
  2. Bush or TGII?

Well... Bush is a junior who has played the position his while life. Ginn is a sophomore growing into his position. I'll leave my evaluation at the end of next season. He has the potential to be almost as explosive, but we'll just have to see how he progresses.
  3. '06 OH WR Joe Morgan (Illinois signee; transfer to Walsh)

I really hope we get an offer to this kid. Seems to be quite a talent, and having a gpa like that could never hurt your standing. It would be quite a loss to miss out on him if he really is a manningham clone.
  4. Fat Phil's Letter To UT Fans

Translation to the letter- PLEASE DON'T FIRE ME!
  5. OL Connor Smith (official thread)

Edit that- The number one PLAYER in the country running behind a 5 star offensive lineman!
  6. Hargrave Military

Just curious, you saw Kurt Warner play in highschool?
  7. '07 OH CB/RB Brian Gamble (Illinois signee)

Not sure on stats here, but from what I've heard, he pretty much took over the game by himself yesterday. Everyone who watched him came away with the "wow" factor in their mind. Someone on the BN free board said that he should be an OSU lock, but is a miami fan.
  8. LB Ross Homan (official thread)

Perfect type of attitude for a linebacker. I already love Ross. As long as he doesn't do that on saturdays next year:D
  9. WR Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

Actually I meant Marvin Harrison from the Colts:tongue2: I agree. He'll be first round no doubt, I'm not sure where in the first he'll go. He very well could go top 10, but I just don't think it'll happen.
  10. Observations from the Barcalounger.

Me and my friends noticed this before the game ven began. He was wearing a Blue Jacket with a yellow scarf. Along with a Blue and Yellow striped tie. Are you kidding me? Talk about a homer.
  11. WR Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

The NFL is going to love him for 2 reasons. He's a deep threat, and he's very elusive and dangerous in the open field. Troy Williamson wasn't as good as Santonio last year, yet went top 10 to the Vikings because he was a good deep threat and did well at the combines. Santonio can not only get...
  12. WR Santonio Holmes (Super Bowl XLIII MVP)

I see holmes as a Torry Holt/Derrick Mason/Steve Smith type of wide receiver. IF he was a few inches taller, he'd be top 10 and probably top 5. I'm amazed Tye Hill, Gabe Watson, and Michael Huff are in the top 10 there. They're all good, but not top 10 type of guys. Especially without Hawk...
  13. '07 TX RB Bradley Stephens (Texas A&M Verbal)

That's exactly what I thought. Except he runs with alot more power than Mr. Bush does. He's going to be a star wherever he goes. That's all I have to say.
  14. Classic Woody on Michigan - They never get old

I gotta say, I wish there were more coaches with the personality of woody these days. It certainly would make rivalries even better. You can't argue that woody didn't add to the rivalry either.
  15. '07 OH DL Steve Matas (Illinois Verbal)

From the measurables, you would think he could be an outstanding tight end. 4.6/4.7 forty with great height and strength. I wonder if that's what he's being recruited as.
  16. '07 MI OL/DL Ryan Wheat (Michigan State Verbal)

You have to be quick to block lineman. But quickness refers to lateral movement, not how you can run in a straight line. Nothing that can't be improved easily in strength and conditioning anyway. If anything, offensive lineman have their 40 times skewed even more than runningbacks and recevers...
  17. '07 MI OL/DL Ryan Wheat (Michigan State Verbal)

you do realize that the 40 time is pretty much useless for offensive lineman right?
  18. One major thing Tressel's Bucks do better than Cooper's did...

One thing about the whole "tackling thing" is that our defensive backfield is alot bigger than it ever was in the cooper era. We have cornerbacks who could play safety, and our safeties have been all over the place also.
  19. Tressel's Players of the Week vs. Illinois

I almost think that Robbie would have the edge. He'll be here longer, and probably has better physical skills. Todd will be a junior by the time he can get a chance at quarterback.
