    2008 Extremely Early Pre-Season Rankings

I'd put money on USF being ranked in the top 25 before the season ends.

Game Thread Game Eleven: Ohio state 25, Michigan 21 (final)

I'm not a Buckeye fan so this isn't a life and death situation to me. It was just a boneheaded decision on his part.

Game Thread Game Eleven: Ohio state 25, Michigan 21 (final)

This thread wouldn't exist if that were true. It's not an partiality issue, it's a matter of simple taste.

    Instant Classic

I'm not a Buckeye fan but my heart was in my throat throughout the 4th quarter. Gave me chills when your guys danced on their field.

Agreed that BM is impartial, but his wardrobe looked like it was supplied by Desmond Howard. What the fuck was he thinking?

Is it time to be over ESPN?

Don't know if this has been posted, but it's an awesome parody of ESPiN and how bad it's become. http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=3328

    Big Least

WVU is deserving of a New Year's Day bowl - but not a BCS bowl. There is great parity in the conference, as witnessed by the Bulls demolition of Louisville earlier in the season, but the overall talent level is extremely poor compared to the Big Ten/SEC. Our best shot for a good bowl showing...

    Interesting Comment About ESPN

SEC games aren't broadcast on ABC and aren't shown very often on ESPN, which limits their coverage to a great degree. ESPN has little reason to hype teams that they aren't getting ad revenue for.

    Interesting BCS Viewpoint

The 1998 Buckeyes arguably got screwed more by the BCS than any other team in history. They would have given Tennessee a MUCH better game than Free Shoes U.

    1997 Rose Bowl

I watched this earlier tonight. Jake Plummer had the same stupid, glazed look in his eyes that he had last week when Eli Manning drove the length of the field, Germaine-style.

    Leinart And Other Thoughts

    Richard McNutt gets my vote.

    Leinart And Other Thoughts

Leinart There's a great piece in Slate today on why Leinart won't make a good pro QB. Link: http://www.slate.com/id/2128209/

Game Thread - USC 38, ASU 28 (Final)

And one last thing, Tresselball wins that game today. As much as some of you guys dislike it, he wins that game today. Agreed. ASU's playcalling in the second half was atrocious.

USC can forget about winning it all now

I don't think they get by Notre Dame.

South Florida 45, Louisville 14 (Final) (not a typo!)

As you all probably know, we have had this week's game @ Cryami circled all year. We have a decent shot - my biggest concern is the legendary referee homers that plague visitors to the OB.

Based on JT's history, OSU will never have a high powered offense

I haven't watched as much Buckeye football this year as most of you, but it seems that Smith is more accurate when he's improvising outside the pocket. In the pocket he either overthinks or panics/doesn't trust his receivers to get open, which is usually a result of micromanagement coaching...

    What is the better rivalry?

the number of players from each school that are now in the league. Rivaled only by the number of players from each school that are now in the state penitentiary.

    ESPN bringing back Keith Jackson!

Another brilliant move by ESPN. Maybe they can pull 80-year-old Pat Summerall out of rehab to join Keith in the booth. Or we could listen to the game at the VFW. Either way.

    Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

He's a good man but he really can't coach. I was watching the Fiesta Bowl not long ago and was blown away by the poor play-calling on offense. His re-signing is very bad news for the Cryami faithful.
