  1. HC Ryan Day (2019 B1G Media COY)

I keep reading “Diddy you’re a big meanie, and boring there is another portal window in May and we’re going to kill that one”. Honest question: Isn’t what’s available in May are guys who aren’t happy with where they’re at on the depth chart at there current school. So I’m supposed to feel could...

Yikes Wypler declares for NFL. I think Frye is an awesome coach. He is going to need to be.

I consider myself measured. I don’t go over board either way.

Just lost the Wazzu tackle to USC. In another thread I was told I was a big meanie and everything is fine. But I have no idea what we are going to do in terms of depth at tackle. We took PJ and Dawand for granted. They were dominant and healthy. We are pretty much stacked everywhere but OT...
  5. Cleveland Guardindians (2023 Season)

Don't pelt me with empties. Anybody down for making a run on Bauer on a prove it deal?
  6. QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

Gotta believe that is just click bait bull sh&t. At best it is front office trying to drum up demand for the #1 pick. Young and CJ aren't in the same galaxy in terms of prospect as a Trevor Lawrence or Andrew Luck were. I don't think this is a very good QB class. When Will levis is projected...
  7. OT Dawand Jones (All B1G, All-American, Cleveland Browns)

I think he is a stud that could creep into late rd 1. Plenty of upside as he is still relatively knew to being a dedicated FB only player. I think his PFF grades were off the charts. He made the vaunted Georgia DL look like D111 chumps. We are going to miss him and PJ.
  8. QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

One last note. Seen many a mock with Jalen Carter going anywhere from 1 to 4 in rd 1. I was wildly unimpressed with him in our game and a couple other games I recall. I’ve never seen a guy who looks so fit get gassed so easily. He was basically worthless v us anytime we went tempo. I have seen...
  9. QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

Just occurred to me. If Poles isn’t completely sold on Justin and likes a qb in the draft he could potentially deal Justin for a haul and take a QB. Seems unlikely but a possibility.

https://www.on3.com/news/all-american-bowl-2023-overall-top-performers/ Damn painful read. Glad the kids we did get fared well.
  11. QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

If Houston is picking 2 and they need a QB I would think they still have leverage with teams that need a a QB (Indy/Tenn/Redskins/Jets/Orleans/Rams).
  12. QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

Without doing much research it would seem like Indy or the Titans would have strong interest. If they could get Quinten Nelson and there 1 (probably 5) and maybe other picks. Or Simmons and they’re 1 (probably 10) and other picks. It may be worth exploring.
  13. QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

I imagine they will trade out to a team wanting a QB. Lovie had to know he was getting fired or he is even dumber then I thought he was.
  14. WR Marvin Harrison, Jr. (Silver Football, 2x Unanimous All-American, 2023 Biletnikoff winner, Heisman Finalist)

Sidebar: What % of schools would have held Marv out in that situation? I’d say close to 0 for any north of the Mason-Dixon line. Our inability to keep players on the field or healthy in general sabotaged the season. For us much crap as Stroud took (some from me) he finished the Georgia game...
  15. 2023 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

There is no chance Dakota starts next year. None. And I was touting the kid before he committed. As for Marshall my point is he isn’t a “long shot”. Tennessee is rumored to be the biggest threat. Hardly an academic juggernaut. Lastly, we have take 1 tb in the 2 past classes. No other team in...
  16. 2023 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

We’re a long shot for Marshall? That’s news to me. Our depth chart for a class of 24 TB will be very enticing.
  17. 2023 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

People are rightfully unhappy with our recruiting at DE, LB, OT and S. We killed it at WR which inflates the ranking and with the lack of rotation at WR they won’t help much next year.

"I think Hartline is not playing freshman because they aren't as good as Egbuka and Harrison. So I mean who could blame him for that. However eventually he's not going to have those 2 and it'd be nice to have more depth." Completely miss the point. Nobody is saying they other WR's should play...
