Can’t convince me he wouldn’t at least be helpful in obvious passing downs to spell the guys. With Zion Grady and Atkinson being solid I think the playoff depth at edge looks a lot more promising (assuming we get there, I don’t take games for granted)
Is there any data out there on the corners? I am curious to know how many times Matthew’s has been targeted and what his allowed completion % is.

Moved up to 6, we were sitting low at 9 I think or something for a while. I don’t love finishing outside of the top 4-5 but it sounds like there’s still hope for an excellent closing

Totally agree. He can absolutely compete against Crystalballs and Nabos of the world. He’ll build a talent pool, a talented roster which will be enough there.
Yeah, an NFL team will offer him 5-6 million a year just to be a DC; and it’s not insane to think one of the major college openings will throw 9m at him or something just because he’s becoming such a commodity
