Agreed. Their defense gave Rutgers some problems on Saturday. Of course, our Offense is a number of cuts above the Scarlet Knights, but Minny will play hard and has some talent on D.
Caden is becoming a wrecking ball. Totally disruptive on the DL. And I like the comparison to the Bosa brothers. If he continues at this pace (the last four games) he is going to go down as a Buckeye legend. That's how good he is playing.
Kudos to Fielding for preventing a TD on the kickoff return by Muhammad. Defensive play of the game imho.
Huskies did get 2-3 bad calls from the refs that contributed to the outcome of the game. And Coleman is a heckuva RB. They have a nice Freshman WR. Boston was basically shutdown.
The toss...
Our DL which was most people's biggest concern going into the year, was a strength today and that is with Houston underperforming. Pleased thus far with Malone and Smith Jr. Sonny and Arvelle are cyborgs and I'm really impressed with Iggy's vast improvement with coverage. Only one hold over four...
Defense limited UW to 2.0 ypc, had 9 TFL and 6 Sacks totally dominating the Husky's Offense. On Offense we mostly stopped ourselves. Wish we would have opened the playbook up more but overall did a solid job in a hostile environment. On to Minny!
Our defense is playing great. More of the same in the 2nd half please. Red Zone problems on offense once again and the Innis punt return fumble on the Husky 20 yd line is what hamstrung us in the 1st half.
Need to open up the playbook on offense in the second half. On short yardage CJ needs to...
Oh my goodness... They will be doubling KMac much of the game but to expect a 17 year old kid to hold his own is a bit of a stretch. Some blitz packages up the middle might be effective as well.
Yup. This game won't be too big for the good guys. But it might be for UW. Other than being an away game we have everything going in our favor. Don't know why the spread is so close to be honest.
Really looking forward to this game. Listening to Day, he really seems to be excited about this matchup against UW. I think that over the length of 4 quarters that our talent and depth is going to show. Hoping for a clean game from the good guys. Avoid penalties and turnovers and we should be good.
