Yup, I think Jackson and Peoples can be a really good one-two punch with CJ in short yardage if he can learn to lower his shoulders. But Jackson is proving he can be a three down back imho. I think he has a breakout game against the Illini.

A number of factors come into play as to why Julian is so effective. One thing to consider is Coach Hart's play calling. He is putting JS in a position to be successful. Kudos to Coach Hart as well.
I think one of their key RBs is out for this game. As well as a key DB.
Besides Julian's ability to see the open receiver and get the ball out quickly, Hart has been rolling him out some and that can take care of the blitz as well.
I really like the idea of giving Josh playing time with the first team. Hopefully, some other guys will develop enough where they also get similar opportunities.
It seems like Illinois is similar to Washington on offense with a pretty good QB Altmyer (though not as mobile) who has 10 TD passes to just 1 interception. Also a pretty good RB in Fagan who has nice speed. And a really good WR in Hank Beatty. Altmyer likes to use the slant pass and so it will...
