That’s right, I’m pleased to present to you the most noteworthy recruiting busts since 2001. More points awarded the higher the recruits rankings. The # at the end is what the player’s rank was for their position that year. Reasons for inclusion range from injuries, crimes leading to expulsion...
Absolutely much better off. Tressel would’ve stuck around for another say 5 years and Urban wouldn’t have came home. I’m still stunned at the ratio of JT’s recruits flopping. Eventually to his peril. Who’s to say he couldn’t have built up another title contender but after he would’ve retired OSU...
In two years from now linebackers on the roster project to be juniors Craig Young and Tommy Eichenberg, sophomores Cody Simon and Mitchell Melton, and freshman Reid Carrico. Assuming they add one more by position switch or a 21’ recruit they will still be one or two injuries away from being...
I can see this guy essentially playing safety if they bring the two safety look back. But he’d basically function as a 3rd corner. As long as he’s relatively fast he should be next in line since Coombs made a point to say how good of a start to spring he had and complimented his intelligence...
oh come on. I watched nearly all his snaps more than once and he was more of a right place right time kind of player early on. He wasn’t close to as impactful as dre’mont Jones/Jashon cornell/davon Hamilton. Great ambassador to say the least.
Whats the deal with mad Max Wray? He’s now an upperclassmen yet Paris Johnson is talked about as easily being in front of him in the media and some coach interviews early spring. Pretty sure his recruiting ranking wasn’t far off Paris Johnson’s and he’s much more experienced. #freeMaximillianWray
If Harry Miller beats this guy out he could still prove to be an NFL talent if one of the three interior guys gets Injured. Now that he’s an upperclassmen, Watch Matt Jones start right guard for the Cleveland browns in a little over a year from now.
This guy film reeks more of past Alabama tackles like Andre smith and cam Robinson. He’s no jedrick wills and hopefully we’ll see jack sawyer embarrass him in the playoffs
This dude can definitely be the center of the future for Ohio state; especially since the class before is mostly offensive tackle profiles and the only high rated interior lineman the two classes before 21’ is harry miller and Donovan Jackson.
Devonta really dropped the ball on this one. All things considered I believe he had a better chance to star for hometown Ohio state versus an outta state team that will recruit his position and he’s as likely or more to be overshadowed unless he goes to the MAC. Not to mention all of Ohio...
Great kid but one of the most overrated players to come thru. I think he’s the definition of a division 1 player who is not an NFLer, ala Tommy schutt. Maybe with a lot of dedication he can carve some niche in the pros.
