2019 Spring Practices, Game, and Tidbits

I'm not trying to count the guy's money, but Day has a finite budget for his assistant coaches. If Hartline takes less, that's money we can spend elsewhere. We saw how important that alumni draw was to Corey Raymond this offseason and he never sniffed an NFL contract close to what Hartline made...

2019 Spring Practices, Game, and Tidbits

Not saying I disagree, but Hartline made over $18 million in his NFL career. Not sure his take home pay is as important to him as it might be to the rest of us.

    Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Collins was being paid as a top-10 linebacker and producing like a top-50 linebacker. He had an easy contract to move on from. Easy call for Dorsey.

    G D'Angelo Russell (Unanimous 1st Team All-American, All-Star, Los Angeles Lakers)

Side note: Not that it matters much, but I'm surprised Mike Conley has never been an All-Star.

Browns gonna Browns. "There has also been some buzz that the Browns are signing offensive guard Kyle Kalis to the practice squad. It has not been confirmed though. Kalis attended Michigan out of Lakewood (Ohio). St. Edward. Since entering the league as an undrafted free agent, he has spent time...

    Scholarship Breakdown by Class

OSU's official roster has McCall listed as a true Freshman. Assuming that's just a typo, correct? Dude played a lot last season.

Brenton Cox Jr. (Dismissed DL Georgia Bulldogs, transfer to Florida)

Some of the stuff I've read has him backing off that, but that may be good news for Georgia. Seems like tOSU was preferable to Ezzard. I'll search for a link... Found it...

Brenton Cox Jr. (Dismissed DL Georgia Bulldogs, transfer to Florida)

Was going off the 6'4", 227 listed in the first post. Didn't see the updated 6'4.5" and 247 on 24/7, though I tend to take those numbers with a grain of salt. Regardless, with coach Mick he'd be too big for LB.

Brenton Cox Jr. (Dismissed DL Georgia Bulldogs, transfer to Florida)

This dude looks about 35. Seems more like a SAM than DE to me, provided he doesn't get taller. @BigWoof31, what say the UGA boards? No inside info, but guessing we're on the outside looking in.

As a grad transfer, sure. As a normal transfer, pass.

NH TE Alexander Marshall (Florida State Signee)

Think @bukIpower was wondering why a thread for a kid whose top 5 we didn't make (and is committed elsewhere) was brought back to life after being dormant for 7 months.
