Yeah, I was impressed. I didn't think the blackout would work, but it actually looked pretty nice.
Seeing the uniforms on the players, I liked the jerseys and pants, but I wish the helmets were more graphite to retain a little of the grey.
Hated the red Buckeye Leaves though.
If this was a rivalry (which PSU seems to think it is), then they shouldn't complain about running up the score, because you ALWAYS want to humiliate your rival.
One of the plays, I think it was in the 4th quarter, a defender had their QB dead to rights, but froze looking at the RB as the QB just ran around him. I actually said aloud, "oh shit" then the QB gained 12 yards.
To tell the truth, most people didn't trust the offense until November. But yes, despite what people are complaining about, the offense is still putting up points. It's just a couple of huge mistakes in placement on defense that made the game less lopsided.
Yep, you don't shut out 3 straight opponents and not have a good defense. Regardless of how bad you think the opponents offenses are. When's the last time OSU shut out 3 opponents? I can only recall 2 shutouts in a row.
People only pay attention to preseason rankings then shut up as the season progresses. Arkansas boasting they had 10 ranked teams on their schedule and saying Ohio State only had one. Now half of Arkansas' opponents are no longer ranked and OSU is getting more and more plus higher ranked teams.
Stiff Arm Of Justice
Or Leap Of Faith (that's what I'm calling his hurdles, it's not a universally accepted nickname yet)
I think they equal each other out.
