Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning pt 1.
Started out a little slow/cheesy but became it's usually strong self as it progressed.
So glad I picked this up at hte library for the depth of the sound through the stereo system. This would have been very disappointing through Paramount+.
Everyone has concerns in this era. The riskiest thing to do would be to pass on Julian.
It would be a little different situation next offseason, if Kyle had worked out, and was going pro after 2024. Lincoln would have 2 years, Air 1. Both would be vital from a physical and comfort standpoint...
None of those guys are worth betting everything on, including Julian. The cream will rise, and they currently have no QBs ready to go. Their best option is a somewhat good but imperfect transfer QB who has no time in BoB's system.
The actual bet was on Quinn and Dylan and not taking others in...
OSU benched it's center before the bowl game, which is partially why their O was that bad, bc OSU hasn't bothered to recruit OL for multiple seasons.
that said, he could certainly play guard too.
Unless Lincoln feels slighted, this isn't any different than McCord returning for his final year. Obviously that's a big if, but it's a very different situation for eligibility than Devin (or Kyle).
And Air is talented but not a sure thing behind him.
Texas can run. they can't get to the ground after running with the loss of brooks in the regular season. their young pups behind him just aren't ready.
that's the big concern, Michigan will be patient. But can JJ keep pace in a shootout? and avoid the characteristic mistakes? that downs int...
I bet Michigan's ferocious interior D will suddenly not take the field on the goal line.
That ranks right up there with short side speed options with todd boeckman.
My lovely wife brought me my lucky OSU socks when Bama went up 7-0. Michigan proceeded to dominate the remainder of the half.
I put on my name free road OSU #2 jersey, to see if that would help Caleb Downs. Not only did it spring McCellelan to that TD, but it helped Caleb recover that muffed...
The Dry. Fantastic adaptation of a terrific book, which I highly recommend reading first. Stunning book for a writer's first try (and the sequel is solid and unique).
Only downside is now that Eric Bana has aged, I can't help but see this character as a more handsome Urban Meyer :slappy...
btw, hopefully the ill advised whining elsewhere about misuse of CJ Hicks will stop for a bit. Steele's brief injury, and replacement by Hicks. why that 3rd down scramble worked early in drive.
the play by play guy is beside himself with the widespread success he's having with the reverse jinxes, the last one talking about OSU never shutting out an opponent.
Parker Fleming sticking to the script, to the bitter end
one would think a kick six would be a sweet middle finger to the pink slip he's about to get. especially on a 65 yd kick. but no, better to keep not returning anything.
