Sidney is a step up from Bellefontaine as they are D2, and they were 5-6 last year so pretty average, but still beats the more unknowns like a D6 team. It looks like they do have a D1 game in Week 3....but it's against Westerville Central which probably won't pose a big challenge for them.
If...
I certainly think so - you have 3 guys that are All B1G caliber, IMO, in Donovan Jackson, Seth McLaughlin, and Josh Simmons. Josh Fryar is at the very least a solid RT. The only truly unknown is Tegra, but how many OLs don't have at least one unknown? And whoever comes out of the Tegra, Hinzman...
Re: Frye
To be on staff at OSU, you either have to be an elite recruiter (which he clearly is not) or an elite position coach (TBD). He has the ingredients on the OL this year to have a great (not just good) unit, and barring a great unit you have to ask if he is OSU caliber.
Avery was too good to redshirt his freshman year and forced his way onto the field with some packages, which you could see TSC doing especially given his size difference over Sayin. It lets you acclimate a youngster and see what you have going into the next season. They loved what they saw and...
This....this is the year!!
I mean, if it's not, it's not happening under this regime. Every ingredient you need is there....we have the depth, a mix of youngers and olders, DTs that can get upfield and create pressure, LBs that are athletic freaks that can fly, CBs that love to hit....I'm just...
Thing is though, those occasional years under Tressel that hit would give you 3 years of top end talent like with JB, Brewster, Adams. I'd gladly take an elite year once in awhile now...at least you can pair that with a developmental player and a portal hit and that's sustainable for a long stretch.
Prospect though - Big Ben was unranked at QB, actually only played 1 year at QB in HS (which I didn't even know that was the case, but he was stuck behind the coaches kid). I also didn't know Ben's dad was a former GT QB until now.
He's the best QB prospect from Ohio I've seen, and it's not particularly close.
Drew Allar was the #3 overall for 247 and there is a sizable gap between the two players.
He has the highest 'pro potential' since 2018 with Trevor Lawrence.
I think Sayin is the clear favorite for next year to...
I know this is odd, but I love fusing Chinese and Mexican food, specifically Chinese protein into Mexican dishes....General Tso's quesadillas, Chinese sliced pork tacos, Kung Pao burritos....it just works dammit. I got the idea from an old DDD episode, maybe first season or so....a gas...
If anyone is interested in doing a dynasty league, check in here.
Online dynasty is not cross platform yet, so this would be Xbox specific.
I'm completely open on difficulty (varsity vs. AA), teams, conference, etc. so if you have any preference I'd be all ears/eyes.
It definitely has a different feel....I wish there was a level between varsity and all-american. When I play AA, I am throwing a minimum of 4 picks and on varsity I'm dropping 50+ every game. There are definitely kinks to work out and improvements they can make, but it's at least satiated my...
