I'm at least confident with Chip that we're going to run some play action that'll catch them off guard. Now, I can't say my confidence is as high on the defensive side! To his credit though, Knowles has done great with his halftime adjustments.
I agree - I think some will be frustrated with the defense early but Knowles seems to like to sit back early before deciding how he wants to attack. Oregon could (and likely should) take advantage of that and put some points up early, but after adjustments I'm certainly more confident in Knowles...
Would much rather play Detroit than Houston, even if they are one of (if not the) hottest teams in baseball.
Outside of Skubal, their rotation isn't scary and the longer the series the more that will show. Looks like most likely he'd be the Game 2 and 5 starter, which would both be in Cleveland...
I haven't had much reason over the years to closely follow the baseball program, so take this with a grain of salt, but the energy around the program feels 100% different than any other time I can remember. Haire seems to be crushing it already at what seems like his dream job and at an age...

Really love what I've seen from Bennett. I think by the end of the year, he could be TE1....monster size, fantastic blocker, developing pass threat. I'm suddenly more optimistic for his future than any other TE in that room and I did not expect to be thinking that going into the year.

Draw for anyone interested
JJ Wolf got a tough draw in the first against Edmund and he lost. Edmund has gotten as high as 14 in the world.
Anthrop won his first rounder, as did Trotter who also won his R16 so he's onto...
Very happy for him - he's come in, done everything asked, kept his mouth shut, crushed it on ST and has earned more PT. Could very well play his way into a starting role for '25.
It's going to be tough to get to a bowl for Wisconsin this year....next two weeks are going to be ugly. They've struggled already with WMU and South Dakota...
As rough as the start of the game was, if Jeremiah Smith catches that and takes it to the house we likely aren't even having this discussion. Lots of jitters for everyone, from players to staff to fans, but they worked through them and got consistently better throughout which is more than we can...
It is tough seeing a team like Akron, that can't afford any guys to go down, losing their QB and more, for potentially a significant amount of time in a game that they never stood a chance. If I were Moorhead, I'd be tempted to treat it like an NFL preseason and let the starters get a series or...
I'm interested to see how much damage Mikey Keene can do. Jalen Moss has a good shot at being a 1,000 yard receiver so I'm sure they'll be able to apply some pressure to that defense.
Plus, Korey Foreman transferred to Fresno State....I have zero expectations for him, but still interesting to watch.
Ha, I had a great 3 legged chihuahua....little shit, would sleep on the bed at night and if you moved at all she'd bite your feet. You'd be in a deep sleep so you wouldn't realize it until the next morning and you see bite marks all over your feet. Now I have a 3 legged Pekingese and he's a shit...
