Hotels for anyone coming to Evanston for the Northwestern game
I thought this website would be handy.
Apparently they are rapidly selling out so act now because there is some convention in town the same weekend as the game, thus rooms in short supply.
Go Cats!

Question
NU fan dropping by.
Is there a station that streams online for free that I can listen to to hear the Paul Keels broadcast? I like flipping back and forth between our guys on WGN and the opposing teams broadcasters.
I know it used to be on 1460 The Fan but its not free over there...
NCAA may limit text messaging of recruits?
I'm on occasional visitor and rare poster over on your board(s) and I am not sure of all of your rules so I hope I am putting this in the correct forum.
Thought this might be of interest.

You are welcome. Props should go out to AstroCat who wrote it all up.
I would head out to Ryan Field at around 8am.

Seriously, here's to a good game. Good luck to you but of course GO CATS!
Two lines
There are two purple lines.
One is the "shuttle" service which takes you from Howard Street (the literal end of Chicago) to about half a dozen stops in Evanston, including Central Street where the stadium is. That runs 24/7, so no worries about that.
There is also a downtown express...
I can only agree with you there thought I have heard that NU is working with the CTA to have "extra" trains after the game. But that's just message board rumors I have seen on our site.
Sorry
I will probably be sitting in Rome for the NAB Europe convention for the game. Will definitely be listening online, though!
I might have even flown out for this game, but it happened on the one weekend I really shouldn't. I could miss the convention but I really shouldn't.
Hotel...
Thanks, the way the ticket board is described
"Buckeye Ticket Forum Post the tickets you have and the tickets you need here."
made it seem to me like was meant for OSU home games and people who wanted to exchanged tickets at the home events. No matter.
Thanks again and good luck in 2006...
FYI the phone is 847 - 491 - CATS.
The website is www.nusports.com (click on "tickets").
Good luck to you guys this year! I hope we are both undefeated when we meet.
Go Bucks! Go Big Ten! And...
Go CATS!

Oops
Oops, sorry. I had thought the tickets board was for OSU games AT OSU only (in otherwords scalping stuff and people trying to get blocks of tix and the like).
Sorry! I didn't know!
Mods, feel free to delete with my apologies.
Just thought I'd post a heads up that single-game tickets to the Northwestern game are on sale as of today (Monday July 24) at 847-491-CATS. Since demand should be pretty high you might want to get on the phone today. You can order online at www.nusports.com (click on "tickets"). Last time you...
I thought you'd like to see this articke about an Ohio kid who won't a little thing like having no legs keep him from playing football.
My apologies is this was posted before, I scrolled the board and didnt see it. Again, my bad if this is old news.
Good luck against the Hawkeyes today...
