And whatever you do, do not try to apply reason to any analysis of the mindset of the Joesus cult. You'll only make your head (or heart) hurt.

I think (and some others on here have confirmed that they share the same beliefs) that Penn State fans are so deep in the hive-mind that was Penn State / Joesus that any attempt to pull them out was / is an insult to them, personally. This is why they get all bent out of shape when a call doesn't go their way. Anything that goes against Penn State on the field or off, is an insult to them, Joe Paterno, the players, the players' academic standing, anyone associated with Penn State, anyone who has EVER been associated with Penn State, and pretty much everyone in the whole world. They get grumpy if a holding call was missed, thinking that people around the world should be writing letters to the referees demanding retribution. If you mention anything bad about Joe Paterno, you might as well shit on your own grandma, because that's about the same thing.

For a group that wants to fight for the "FACTS" and "EVIDENTS" so much, they really don't like seeing when the facts or evidence say anything bad about them.

I feel like there's a certain push back against the cultists happening on both BWI and Audibles here recently. They're both still overwhelmingly batshit crazy, but it seems that some posters (legit posters, I hope...just for the sake of humanity in general) are sick of the narratives that go on over there.

Do some reading about Ed Savitz and Phil Foglietta and their relationships with old Jer......Not sure if they were involved with Second Mile or not, but there was definitely some networking going on between these guys. You can bet there were others involved as well......

Some more:

And then there's this:

And to this...
Richard Haefner - convicted pedo, and likely murderer circa late 60s-70s; grad student at PSU
Lauren Wright - covering for above; professor at PSU; assumption is that Haefner had something on Lauren (both pedos?)
Antonio Lasaga - PSU professor from late 70s, arrested in 81 for molesting a young boy and released w/no trial or investigation. Lasaga ditched PSU for Yale and was convicted in 1998.

Oh and of course Jay Paterno is now also a victim to pedophiles.

In the book obtained by Reuters on Thursday, Jay Paterno said the pedophile approached him at a bus stop in the Park Forest Village section of State College. The encounter left him confused and upset, Paterno said, and he ran away.

Followed by the "Joe was fooled" narrative. How many times did they have to tell him?
Paterno says his father was conservative, even clueless about sex, and speculates that might have influenced how he handled Sandusky. He tells a story about his father wondering aloud at a coaches meeting how two of his players could have had sex with a Penn State coed, who had filed a complaint, at the same time.

On a walk with his son in the last months of his life, the elder Paterno expressed puzzlement about Sandusky’s rape of boys and said he never knew it was going on.

"Jay, he fooled me," the coach is quoted in the book as telling his son.

I think one of those 3 (or another pedo prof) was reported to Spanier by an abuse victim and Spanier refused to investigate.

You know what, when this thing first broke and there were people crying "shut it (PSU football program) down" I thought they were being a little overreactive. But now, no. Those fuckers have learned nothing. I believe there is nothing they won't cover up to protect the reputation of Paterno and his hacks.

SHUT

IT
