I sincerely hope Ohio State's situation isn't desperate enough to need to cast racial connotations on other programs just to secure 17 or 18 year old recruits.

Our campus isn't located in the middle of bumfuck nowhere like Penn State's, so I'd guess it's not necessary here.

Is Johnson's regions of specialty PA, M.D. and DC only? Or does he also get into VA, NJ/NY, new England?

All of the above...quite likely the best recruiter of the east coast region in the last 10-20 years. I put my feelings in the other thread but any objection to his hiring does not come from his track record of recruiting and coaching players.
